I first heard her in my orchestral conducting classes at the University of Montreal, where she sight-read at the piano several reductions of orchestral works. I later had the great pleasure of performing with her the very complex Piano Concerto by Witold Lutosławski during a Polish music concert at Pollack Hall, McGill University. Naturally, the concert was considered a great success. Every occasion I have had to work with Justyna Gabzdyl has confirmed that I am in the presence of a high-calibre musician and a true artist. Gifted with remarkable technical facility and great discipline, Ms Gabzdyl distinguishes herself by her professionalism and strong work ethic, which, I am sure, will lead her far. I have nothing but good things to say about Justyna Gabzdyl and no hesitation in recommending her for any project she may desire to be a part of.
